This is a manually curated Web3 news bot made and maintained by the AptoRobos team, and it is powered by Aptos Monkeys. We have the news manually handled and shared, to make sure there are random spam news sent to all the servers that take advantage of the bot.

How much does the bot cost?

Nothing. It’s a free-to-use bot that you can use to have the bot installed and used on your server.

What permissions will the bot use and how do I know it isn’t going to spam?

The only permission needed by the Web3 News Bot is the permission of sending messages. The bot doesn’t take any permission of tagging everyone, sending commands, or taking any admin permissions, and you can ensure that when you are installing the bot, and giving it the permission of sending messages.

Will the bot be sending sponsored stories too?

No, the bot is not made to send sponsored stories. Only manually curated news will be shared, with link to the original source for the server members to read the full news if they want to. The development of the bot is well-funded, so we won’t be sending any sponsored stories without a prior note.
